Abused Deaf Women’s Advocacy Service (ADWAS)

Since its inception in 2005, dVELO has asked members to make annual $5 contributions to maintain their membership. Since dVELO does not have a treasury, these contributions are directed to a non-profit organization.

For 2012, dVELO is passing along members’ $5 contributions to the Abused Deaf Women’s Advocacy Service (ADWAS). ADWAS provides comprehensive services to Deaf and Deaf-Blind victims/survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence, and stalking.
